Harvard-MIT-Tufts-Yale Political Violence Conference

On April 22nd, 2017, Yale will host the annual Harvard-MIT-Tufts-Yale Political Violence Conference. Elisabeth Wood, on behalf of Yale’s Program on Order, Conflict, and Violence, invites graduate students, pre-doctoral, and post-doctoral fellows affiliated with one the three schools to submit paper proposals.

If you are interested in attending, please send a title and abstract to Chris Price (christopher.price@yale.edu) by March 27th. If the number of submissions exceeds the conference capacity, proposals will be accepted on a competitive basis. Participants will be notified of acceptance no later than April 6th.

The conference will be divided into four panels, with 4-5 papers per panel. Presentations will last 10 minutes. A faculty member or postdoctoral scholar will offer comments after the presentations (15 minutes), followed by a question and answer period.

We will provide lodging for non-Yale students, and there will be a conference dinner for presenters and discussants.

Please do not hesitate to contact Chris Price (Christopher.price@yale.edu) if you have any questions.

Look forward to seeing many of you there!
