2016 Harvard-MIT-Yale Political Violence Conference

On April 16th, 2016, Harvard will host the annual Harvard-MIT-Yale Political Violence Conference. Professor Bates and Tyler Jost invite graduate students, pre- and post-doctoral fellows affiliated with one of the three schools to submit paper proposals.

If you are interested in attending, please send a title and abstract to me (tjost@g.harvard.edu) by March 18th. If the number of submissions exceeds the conference capacity, proposals will be accepted on a competitive basis. Participants will be notified of acceptance no later than March 20th.

The conference will be divided into four panels, with 4-5 papers per panel. Presentations will last 10 minutes. A faculty moderator will offer comments after the presentations (15 minutes), followed by a question and answer period.

We will be able to provide compensation to Yale students for transportation to and lodging in Cambridge.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Look forward to seeing many of you there!
